conservation-code software package provides protein sequence conservation scoring tool, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install conservation-code
conservation-code is installed in your system.
Make ensure the conservation-code package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep conservation-code *
You will get with conservation-code package name, version, architecture and description in a table
